Along with all the comic book "destroying", I've been steadily putting together a body of work inspired by many of the books I've revisited over the passed few months. Since late Summer, I've been collecting bits and pieces of comic book panels into a sketchbook that, for one reason or another, I've found particularly interesting, particularly when taken completely OUT of context.
Somewhere along the line I thought it would be a neat idea to either recreate or reinterpret each individual panel's script and dialogue in my own Meeting Neil is Easy way.
So far the "fun" is still in abundance.
The illustration above was created in part by some Professor X dialogue that appeared in a Grant Morrison-penned issue of New X-Men. Here's the panel:
