"I have always found that the journey of art begins inside, and the moment I get to express that in my work usually coincides with the realization that my checking account is about to bounce."
NEIL E. KLEMZ is a freelance artist and musician currently living and working out of his hometown of Chicago, Illinois.
A graduate of Northern Illinois University and weekly contributor to DECAF PLANET, Neil's background is primarily in traditional illustration and fine art media.
He's also written and performed with many Chicago-area rock bands, including A Day Without, Catsplash and The Logistics.
When not penciling, inking, or plucking away at rusty guitar strings, Neil spends his free time screaming and yelling at his dog and three cats, taking obscenely long walks, and obsessing over the irrelevance of his future while gorging on delicious piles of tasty hot wings.
